This special event on July 3, 2010, to benefit the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce and its membership. A group of numbered golf balls will be dropped from a lift hovering over specified area at Veterans Park during the Independence Celebration. The first golf ball in the hole, or the one closest to the hole, wins the grand prize of $1,700. There will be closest-to-the-pin prizes, as well as a prize for the ball furthest from the pin.

Winner need not be present to win. A list of the winners will be posted on www.newcastleok.org Sunday, July 4, 2010, by noon.
