Street Department

The Newcastle Street Department is responsible for the maintenance of the street and drainage systems throughout the City. They provide for pot hole patching and other functions necessary to keep the streets and drainage channels operational. They also maintain traffic counts for specific areas of the City, upon request of the City Manager.

Water/Waste Water Department

The Newcastle Water Department and Waste/Water Department are responsible for updating the water lines and lift stations.
