Committees/Groups

The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce's voluntary committees offer Members the opportunity to contribute directly to the work of the Chamber and to interact with fellow Chamber Members who share common interests.  Committee participation is a great way for Members to network, share ideas and further the Chamber’s objectives for Newcastle businesses and the Tri City Area through its promotion, support and advocacy initiatives.

Below are descriptions of the Chamber's active committees.

Ambassador's Club
Chair:

Develops strategies and practical actions to grow Chamber membership and increase Member retention through monitoring of marketing and business trends and considering the impact of doing business in Newcastle.

Government Affairs
Chair:

Advocates on behalf of the Newcastle business community about issues that will further the economic and business climate of the community. Also works to enhance the rapport between Newcastle Chamber Members and public officials.

Women's Network
Chair:

The purpose of the group is to gather women from all business types within the chamber to create a network of resources and outlets for the benefit of the WN.

Special Events
Chair:

Develops and implements special events that best serve our membership including Annual Banquet, Annual Golf Tournament and Membership Luncheons as well as events that assist with quality of life through arts and entertainment for the community.
