Committees/Groups

The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce's voluntary committees offer Members the opportunity to contribute directly to the work of the Chamber and to interact with fellow Chamber Members who share common interests.  Committee participation is a great way for Members to network, share ideas and further the Chamber’s objectives for Newcastle businesses and the Tri City Area through its promotion, support and advocacy initiatives.

Below are descriptions of the Chamber's active committees.

Government Affairs
The Government Affairs Committee represents the Chamber on local, state and federal issues that impact our members.  The Committee researches issues, develops positions it recommends to the Board, and advocates for those positions with Board approval.

Women's Network
The purpose of the group is to gather women from all business types within the chamber to create a network of resources and outlets for the benefit of the WN.

Special Events
Develops and implements special events that best serve our membership including Annual Banquet, Annual Golf Tournament and Membership Luncheons as well as events that assist with quality of life through arts and entertainment for the community.
