Newcastle Voter Population Information

The following numbers are valid as of January, 2013 per the McClain County Election Board. If a voter has not voted in the last two Federal general elections, their registration has been purged from the system.

There are a total of 21,622 registered voters in McClain County as of January, 2013. Newcastle makes up 23% of the voting population.

Polling Locations

Polls are open from 7:00am to 7:00pm on Election Day. Absentee votes are due to the McClain County Election Board the Wednesday prior to Election Day (Tuesday). In-person absentee voting will be accepted at the McClain County Election Board Office on Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm and Monday 8:00am to 6:00pm before Election Day. McClain County Election Board regular office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm.
