This week, we are proud to also celebrate Newcastle Police Department Dispatchers Week—honoring the voices behind the scenes who help keep our community safe each and every day. The Newcastle OK Chamber was grateful to partner with Pioneer Telephone Coop - Newcastle to stop by and show our appreciation. Pioneer generously provided drinking cups, and the Chamber was happy to add Impact Nutrition on Main tea packets as a token of thanks. This week is Animal Control Officer Week and we celebrated them by stopping by the City of Newcastle Animal Control to show a small token of our appreciation. We are so incredibly grateful for the hearts behind this team- Justine, David, and Kara- for serving, protecting, and caring for the animals in our community with compassion and dedication every single day. It truly does not go unnoticed. We were delighted to bring a few gift cards and some cheesecake as a thank you, but the real treat was getting to spend a little time with three of the sweetest dogs—they absolutely stole our hearts! If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, we encourage you to visit the Newcastle Animal Shelter—you just might meet your new best friend. Thank you for all you do to keep our community (and its animals) safe, loved, and cared for. We are so fortunate to have you! PS- the shelter is accepting donations of dog treats, dog food, cat treats, cat food, and toys.
